I finally did it! I took a huge step and showcased my services at one of the biggest baby show conventions in London. Not only that—I spent the day talking to complete strangers who had no idea I even existed! That alone was a wild thought to wrap my head around.
Let’s be honest, as business owners, we often feel most comfortable behind our screens. We talk about what we do, engage with potential clients who have already found us, and rely on social media to spread the word. But for 2025, I wanted more. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, meet families, expecting parents, and show them the true value of printing their memories—of experiencing their moments beyond a digital screen.
I’ll admit, I worried. With hundreds of people walking by, all on a mission to buy everything they needed for their growing families, would I actually get to connect with anyone? But it happened. And I’m so grateful. We shared stories—some relevant to their journeys, some just for the laughs—and created real, meaningful connections in a space that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
That’s always my goal, whether at an event or in a photoshoot. I want people to feel comfortable enough to be themselves with me because that’s when I can truly capture their essence. It reminded me why I do what I do—and that while social media is great, nothing beats real human connection face to face.
