...But I Wish I Had Done It Sooner
When I got contacted to see if I could provide work experience for two young ladies studying photography as a GCSE, I said yes without any hesitation, called my insurance providers to make sure I had all the correct documents, then we were good to go. And I am so glad it did!
Planning for their work experience made me reflect on my own work experience all those years ago, hehe. It made me think about how much it helped me shape my decisions on wanting to be a teacher or not, so I knew I had to make sure I could give them as much knowledge as possible but with a great experience.
I planned a week of lessons for the girls teaching them the basics of photography and how to shoot in manual settings and not automatic, lighting, client relationship, and the basics of running a photography business. The girls also got to see me in action with live client shoots and practice photographing each other with different light setups and they love it.
A big thank you also to FUJIFILM who sent cameras for the girls to learn on making it easy for them to learn while I was teaching them.
The New Photographers In Town
On the days the girls weren't watching me live shooting with my clients they were busy getting to know their cameras and all the settings. here are some of the photographs their girls took, I was so proud of them! On the last day, they even told me that they would love to come back and work for me one day, that must men I done a great job right?

I am so happy to be able to provide this opportunity for people who want to learn especially for the younger generation.
